Hi, I’m Darren - the AZ Glove Guy.

I’ve been working on gloves since I was a kid, and in 2015 I turned that passion into a profession while running batting cages in Queen Creek (AZ GRIP‑N‑RIP). When our lease ended in 2020, players kept reaching out for glove work, and what started as a small favor grew into a full glove repair and restoration service based out of my home in Queen Creek. I take appointments only, since I still work a full-time day job.

I specialize in relacing, repairing, cleaning, and restoring baseball and softball gloves; from youth models to pro-level gear. What I enjoy most are the gloves with stories: the ones passed down from a parent, carried through seasons of growth, or tied to a player’s journey. Bringing those gloves back to life is what drives me.

The best part of my work is seeing a customer’s face when they pick up their glove and it looks ready for the field again. That moment of joy never gets old.

I serve players of all ages and levels, T-ball, Little League, Club, High School, College, and even some Pros. I especially enjoy helping parents understand the gloves their kids use, because a well-fit, well-cared-for glove truly makes a difference.

I proudly serve the Phoenix Metro area and beyond, with many customers now shipping gloves to me 

from all over the country.
